Rio Hostel is at Calle San Gregorio 1, in Seville's old town, between the Archivo de Indias and the Real Alcázar. It is a cobbled street in the former Jewish quarter, about 400 m from the Santa Cruz district, with cafés and restaurants just a few steps away.

From San Pablo airport, about 7 km away, the TUSSAM EA bus runs all year round, roughly every 12–15 minutes. For the hostel, get off at Prado de San Sebastián, about 550 m away, or at Paseo de Colón, by the Torre del Oro. By taxi the journey takes around 18 minutes.
Santa Justa railway station is 1.7 km away: take the same EA bus, a taxi or walk for about 26 minutes. From San Bernardo station, the T1 tram and metro line 1 run to Puerta de Jerez, about 200 m from the hostel, and the T1 also stops at Archivo de Indias. If you are driving, note that there is no parking on site; there are paid public car parks at Paseo de Colón and Plaza de Armas.

The Real Alcázar, a World Heritage Site together with the Cathedral and the Archivo de Indias, is practically next door; it is wise to reserve tickets in advance. The Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, holds the tomb of Columbus, and the Giralda was once the Almohad minaret. The Archivo de Indias is free to enter and closed on Mondays.
Towards the river, the Torre del Oro is 300 m away and the Triana bridge 900 m. Plaza de España, designed by Aníbal González for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, and María Luisa Park are about 1 km away. In July and August average highs reach around 36 °C, so spring and autumn are more pleasant; Holy Week 2027 runs from 21 to 28 March.
